minority carriers

When both p type and N type semiconductors are joined together and reverse biased holes in p type and electrons in n type gets attracted towards the terminals the what about minority carriers electrons in p type and holes in n type what they do? and what happen when forward biased?
please answer me if my question is valid.......

The minority carriers move opposite to the majority carriers since they have opposite polarity.
