I am again getting into electronics( I took a course in highschool 14 yrs ago)
I will mainly be doing projects that have to do with audio ie amplifiers and effects, but also have a interest in radio and computers.

I want to get a breadboard and power supply to start experimenting. Cheap is good but I dont want crap.

I am looking at this for a power supply. I will most likely dealing with circuits that need less current (300-600mA) Will I still be able to use this?

would this be better?

and this for a breadboard. I assume I can hook this up with the above power supply?

I am just getting started reading an electronics theory book that has experiments at the end of each section.

are these two piece a good start?
are there better for the money?
can i use a regular power supply like this somehow?

The second power source that you posted a link uses the same circuit as our project here: http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/power/010/index.html

Might as well just build it rather than buy it. I f you just want to jump in, either of these would be good starters. The breadboard is ok, too. It is nice to have one with banana jacks so you don't have loose power supply wires ready to pop out of a breadboard and short things out.
