Nobody makes a regular tubular flourescent lamp with one end contacts only

Maybe someone knows different, but it seems that regular tubular flourescent
lamps for domestic use (T5, T8 etc) are only made with connections at both
ends. This correct? TIA.

Just to clarify: I'm talking about straight tubes.

I can see there is a Compact Flurescent Type S with connections at one end.
Looks like max length about 235mm. I wish something like that would go up to
about 350mm and above.

Aaah, I think I may have found something here, not a regular straight
fluorescent with contacts at one end, but contacts are at one end on this
design:

Called it seems PLL compact.

There are U shaped fluorescent tubes. The connections are at either end of
the tube but due to the bending of the tube they are on the same side.
