This is a National Radio Institute model W VTVM that was given to me by a retired Navy Veteran. I was going to just leave it on a shelf for display, but then I got to thinking, does this thing work?? And I bet I could fix it if it doesn’t! Well, it works! Now all I need to do is replace the ancient D cell battery and calibrate it! I need a schematic for it, if anyone has one I’d love to have a copy. I am going to tape two D cells together and connect them in parallel to double the current capacity to the ohm meter section, and I will add some banana jack terminals to use regular meter leads.
