warning--- may be a stupid question

Running a 6v DC lead acid battery to motor controller to run a small stepper... I ran low on juice while trouble shooting code and hooked it to my simple recharger of this type: http://www.amazon.com/D1724-Battery...AIMU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1318998089&sr=8-1

so I just continued trouble shooting while the charger was hooked up--- now my charger reads only .02v through DMM. If I remember it was a little higher than 6V before. Did I kill it or am I overlooking something?

If the unconnected charger give you 0.02V yes he is dead! If you can open the enclosure maybe you can narrow down the problem.
