Here's a story on how commercial quantum crypto gear was shown to not
actually work according to the principles it was designed to work to,
otherwise it would be impossible to exploit the gear!

Then, it was not really a true quantum based number generator.

A true quantum system cannot be "observed" as it breaks the message
packet and the key.

They should get sued for making false claims, if that is what they did.

Quantum Cryptrography always struck me as "too good to be true". And so

It was never clear to me why I shouldn't be
able to direct the single photon into a laser
medium an amplify it.
