RCA again sound issues.

Thanks for the tip kip, but I don't have an updated chipper checker.

This is not the Gemstar type problem. Model # 36V550T chassis
# ITC008HYV. At turn on, when picture comes in, there is no sound,
change channel, sound comes back, & stays. Replaced CS124 surface
mount capacitor, as per the Thomson B2B site, replaced tuner, & jungle
IC. Still the same. Ideas anyone? Dani.

Ok try the EPROM, maybe its corrupted somehow.
