Hello everybody,

I need to build a switch that can turn off a power outlet for a few seconds when i press a button. I thought of modifying a wireless door bell. I replaced the speaker with the following circuit but the result is that the relay coil and contact is literally playing the tune. Quite funny, but i need a ferm click-clack .....

Not knowing what levels the doorbell puts out it's hard to tell what the component values should be, you may have to experiment. The diodes may be 1N4148 however.
If the output level is really low you might even have to do without the first diode, the capacitor, and the lower resistor.

Thank you for your answer. I did the following schematic. I'm happy that it turns the relay on , but when the tune finishes it doesn't turn it off. To turn it off, i have to short the relay coil....I need it to be turned off after the song ends...

Well, at least I tried.. I'm not surprised your "versions" of the initial circuits did not work.. I don't understand why you swapped collector-emitter and shorted collector-base..
