Replace Resistor on Oster Trimmer

Have an Oster 76988 Trimmer that stopped working out of the blue. Dissembling it revealed a busted resistor. Naturally, the resistance is unknown and no schematics are available.

I am out of practice but made a rough LT Spice sketch of the board...it's really just AC Power -> Resistor -> Bridge Rectifier -> Motor.

Was not able to measure anything on the resistor. Can someone help me determine the resistance?

Could it be a fusible resistor?.
Any colour stripes?
Does the motor have any specs on it?

Tried to delete this. It won't let me. Martaine has it all. Colors look like black, yellow, brown or black, and white.
Looks like it is the mains line fuse (fusible resistor). What are the rest of the letters on that board? LF-03v????.

LF-03VC; that is what was underneath the resistor I removed. Thought it would be helpful, but couldn't turn up anything with it.

Doesn't look like a resistor to me, more like an inductor

It is an inductor. It should measure 'short circuit' with a test meter (as good as). Doesn't look damaged to me which leaves either the rectifier or the motor as the damaged item and given the type of equipment I'd say the motor is dud.

Either way, you need a test meter to check the bits.

A closer look shows what appears to be a broken wire. See the pic. Something caused that plastic shroud to shatter and come off. I do think this is a failed component. I think it was used as a mains line fuse and is shown on the board as LF (Line Fuse?), but it certainly does look like an inductor. There are colors on the shroud that need to be looked at closer for possible resistance/inductance clues.

Can you post a picture here of the other side of that circuit board?
