Replacement EL Backlight for Seiko 2x40 LCD

I've got a machine with an old LCD and the backlight is very dim. I'm
having a hard time finding a replacement for the EL backlight. Anyone
know where I can find these? It's be nice to find a perfect
replacement (it's around 120 volts and I haven't measure the Hz yet)
but I can just replace the inverter too if I can't find a match.

I can probably use LEDs to illuminate it if necessary, but I'd prefer
EL if I can find one.

i had to google for LCDs and somewhere out there were EL backlights. you
could just get a replacement from www.timeline-inc.com. they don't
mention it on the site but per phone coversation they offer the EL
backlight option.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I tried timeline and digikey but couldn't find quite what I was
looking for. I finally just ordered a new LED backlit LCD module on
Digikey that I think will be an exact replacement for what I've got.
