Stupid SMD Question

Hello all,

Got a Pioneer DEH-P75DH in for repair. Symptom, won't load CDs. I managed to
identify the problem as one of the two SMD sensors on a small PCB that tells
the deck there is a CD present, and got it to suck a CD in and start playing
it by shorting across one of them momentarily.

My stupid question is this - I know which sensor needs replacing, but not
sure what to replace it with. Don't do too much work with SMD devices, and
can't tell what Pioneer used in here. Anyone know what I can use to get it
working properly again? The CD assembly is part number CXK5001 if that helps
any. TIA for any help.

Have you thought about looking up Pioneer, and enquiring for their parts
department, so that can order a new piece.

Didn't even think of that... too much caffeine yesterday ;)

Pioneer has parts available online - just figured since they wanted to sell
the whole CD unit as a module, they wouldn't want to help me out with just
that little sensor PCB. I'll send them an email and see what happens. The CD
unit seems to be used in many other models - perhaps I can grab something
off eBay to repair this one for cheap too if nothing else.

Thanks.
