Greetings,

Does anyone know where I can buy a pack of the most common SMT
resistor values? Something on the order of 10 each of common values,
2-300 parts total would be good.

A similar pack for caps would be handy too.

Thanks

Ten times what you want and you don't say where in the world you are,
but Rapid Electronics here in the UK do a pack with 100 each of 39
different 1206 resistors. £23.50 + VAT.

They also do a pack of 100 each of 18 different 0805 ceramic chip
capacitors. £43.50 + VAT.

RS (http://rswww.com) here also do kits, with 50 each of various
values, but they appear to be wildly expensive. 50 is RS's minimum
order on SMT resistors, 100 is Rapid's minimum. I don't know how much
luck you'll have finding someone willing to count out 10 each of the
tiny little buggers for you :)

I'm in the US, but given the prices I usually see on these kind of
development kits (600-3000USD) I'm willing to pay some shipping for a
reasonably priced set.

Rapid Electronics looks perfect, converting to USD appears to put the
kit around $50, plus shipping, which is a great price.

The kit appears to be for 0805's, not 1206's. Thats fine, the 1206's
seem a bit large to me, but 0603's would be a bit difficult to handle
with my equipment.

Thanks
