Want DIGITAL VOLT METER for AC

Hi,

In Electroni-LAB.com a circuit is given using IC 7107, The circuit is mainly for DC Inputs only, if we want to measure AC inputs than which changes will we have to make in our cisruits.

Either, a Bridge Rectifier is used with capacitor in front of AC inputs and That Circuit for DC, or any other approach.

If you follow the long multi-page thread on the digital voltmeter, an AC input was added and posted in that area. You can perform a search of the digital voltmeter or look for last several posts by maestrodamus as he is the one who posted it.

hi there!
feed a rectified AC to ur meter first use 10 different AC VALUES then calibrate your meter for corresponding DC value
