Hello,
I want to use a Wiltron autotester with an Marconi 6500 scalar analyser -
Apparently the 12 pin input connector (with 8-pconductor cable) comming from a genuine MI detector seems to include a resistor or a zener diode in the wiring so the 6500 can recognise the sensor type and autoadjust gain and linearity.
Does anyone have a table or information so I could prepare a proper interconnecting cable?

Neither the MI 6500 user manual nor the service manual seem to provide any detailed information. I do not wish to open a working 6512 detector in order to check wire-connections not shown in the schematics.

Any help or hint is appreciated. Dismantling a damaged sensor could help also.

Thank you

Hi,
Did you ever get a satisfactory answer to this question.
I have a similar interest and would like to know if you are still waiting for a reply to your plea for help.
