I have a new Holland dashboard with a failed LCD display , it measures about 1inch by 1inch square , I need to remanafacture this, This will be a very valuable project for anybody that can assist me with this project ????

Is this a custom display, as many small LCDs are?

Thanx for the reply Bob , yes this is a custom display but I can get hold of an aftermarket display that another company produced , have you any experience of building digital LCD displays Bob

This is a tractor dashboard , new replacement dashboard costs 1000 euros , the ribbon connection fails , it can not be reconnected to the screen , can you help with this project ?

The best you could manage would be to add different displays for each of the sensor readings - fabricating an LCD is no simple (or cheap) task.

Can you post a picture of the display and the connection to it?

If the electric/electronics follow industry standards it may even be OSB2 or CANBus in which case you 'might' get a tablet-based software package that can read the bus and display the information you require.

No, I don't have experience except for using off-the-shelf displays.

I am still not sure what you are trying to do. If you can get hold of a replacement LCD, is it just installing it that you are having trouble with? As Kelly's eye says, making a custom display is not something easily done. Companies will do it for you but only in large quantities.
