Where can I get IC Pitch Perf Boards, PLAIN, no cladding, no Copper!
Remember, Im I Canada, but I often order from the States, and Europe.
Its getting progressively more difficult to find. Im an old fart, and I love this stuff to build on!!

Try this source - UK based but they do stock it.

or here:

or eBay:

Notwithstanding the above, I have been using this stuff for a few years now:

The solid copper-coated side makes a great earth plane and can make prototype construction very compact (all your ground connections solder on the component side and you use a small drill bit to give clearance to component wires that need to pass through to be wired point-to-point).

It might look complicated but it's surprisingly simple to use and the compactness of the finished results is quite astonishing - I'll try to upload a pic or two of some stuff I've done over the years but, as ever, each to their own!

Got you beat by 2 years! I'm 63 now and been doing it since the same age as you but I've also discovered other methods that actually work better than plain stripboard - vis-a-vis the copper plane/solderpad stuff in the last pics I posted.

Of course, each to their own (as I said) but you might be pleasantly surprised at the 'new' stuff - the advantage of a ground plane cannot be over-stated but then again that's because I'm into more RF-based construction these days.

Thank you very much, I have ordered from them, as they happily accepted my order from Canada.
