want to charge 2 18650 batteries as a 6v battery with a BMS

I have a flat 6v lantern battery here and I also have a lot of 18650 batteries and I decided instead of paying 30+ dollars for a rechargable lantern battery maybe I can cut this one open and replace the cells with 2 or even 4 18650 batteries and use a BMS to regulate the charging and the voltage, what BMS would be best suited for this one that converts the voltage back into amps would be great but even sticking with 2 batteries would suffice

BMS modules do not regulate the charge discharge nor do they allow the charge in the required manner for lithium.

You can buy a cheap 2,3, 4 or whatever number cells you want BMS online. Connect up a power supply to the input, connect the cells together and then to the BMS, then the load can be connected. I have converted just about every portable appliance I can to use 18650's, some charged by USB, some 12Volts.

As I already explained, the BMS is not a charger.

its a regulator stops the batteries over charging, as I explained I want to charge them as a 6v battery and it needs the BMS to regulate the current so the batteries dont over charge and burn out.

Simple module for charging 18650, either one or 2 cells, is as follows.......
You will not charge 2 18650's with 6v or indeed "as a 6v battery" whatever that means.

This has nothing to do with your BMS module which can be used as well.

Note that there is an older style with less components around the diode area that are not much chop.

Note also there are many others that will do the same, up to you which you select, this is just one example.

I have a charger that charges 6v 12v and 24v batteries
I want to open up my flat lantern battery and replace the dead cells with 18650 batteries and then charge the battery like a normal 6v battery
