Hello everyone!

I dropped a hair dryer in the water after using it. I pulled it out fast but it was still hot, plugged in the mains and switched off. Still in warranty but the shop I bought it is in another country. The local repair shops asked 50-60 eur for repair. The dryer cost 60 so I was thinking maybe there is smthng I could do to fix it my self. I took it apart but I reached the point that I cant understand what the problem might be. I dont have electronics knowledge. Just some basic electrical.

There are 3 leds that are blinking when is plugged in but it does nothing when I press any button.

I attach the pcb photos. I would really appreciate it If anyone can spot something and let me know.

Ship it back, claim the warranty. For safety reasons it would not be practical to attempt bringing it back to life. Especially a device that gets really hot & you hold right next to your head.

Hello,

As you already opened the dryer, you have no warranty anymore.
