I'm needing a RF transmitter with a low cost, low power and a high range for a project. its an emergency any suggest I'll apreciate thanks

Please give more details like:

AM? FM?
Transmit data? Audio? What is the data rate?

cardkicker, nice circuit but you need to provide more information, what are the conponent values?

Also Q1 & Q2 could be NPN transistors if you reversed the polarity of the 9V battery and C4. NPN transistors are easier to get hold of and they generally have better charicteristics than their PNP counterparts.

sorry bought that butt i found the info for ya.If you want to take a look at the site i got that photo off of it has plenty to offer.Far as the mathametics go theres enough math there to hurt my head so her ya go http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/index.asp knock your self out ;D
