You can do that. Whether it is useful and safe depends on the circuits being considered.
Without further detail there is no definitive yes or no.

Are you talking about a transformer secondary?.
If so, it’s a direct link to ground/earth. That would also mean it’s not an isolated supply.
Please give more details as already mentioned above.

iron-magnesium or iron-nickel alloys
have a high magnetic permeability & high frequency losses, making them ideal for high-frequency applications.
