You’re on the right track overall. For a 12V LiFePO4 like this, you mainly need a controller that supports LiFePO4 profiles and lets you set the charge voltage around 14.4–14.6V with a current limit under 6.6A. Battery capacity itself isn’t an issue, it just affects how long charging takes.
A small MPPT controller with adjustable settings would be the safest choice, especially if you later change or upgrade solar panels. Just avoid generic lead-acid only controllers, since they don’t handle LiFePO4 well. Your assumptions about series cells and charge behavior are mostly reasonable without opening the pack.
