PCB Manufacturing — Complete Beginner’s Guide
For thickness, 1.6 mm is usually the safe default. I’d only go thinner, like 0.8 or 1.0 mm, if the board needs to fit in a tight space or save weight. I’d go thicker, like 2.0 mm+, if it needs more stiffness or has mechanical/connector requirements.
