I am currently using a Stratocaster Guitar to a Guitar processor to AMP (or direct PA)..
I am getting a high frequency feedback - kindly see the attached picture.. Only when I use the acoustic guitar patch ...(for other patch I might not hear it - but its not a patch issue)..

- I tried building a low pass filter to cut that frequency - with the attached CAP and RESISTOR value.

- Unfortunately the overall tone gets very muddy and I needed your help cut the feedback issue yet have decent treble..

is it because of the cap or not sure why the before calculation does not work?

kindly help..

What you need is a notch filter to remove only a narrow band of unwanted  frequencies . There are pedal notch filters on the market but they are pricey. Search on "guitar notch filter pedal".

Also see::  https://lambdageeks.com/notch-filter/#:~:text=A notch filter%2C also known as a frequency, while allowing other frequencies to pass through unaffected.

About half way down the page he covers guitar pedals.

If you wish to make one perhaps I could help you with it.
Thank you for your reply.. happy to follow any circuit that I can build

One of the main challenge here in India.. these pedal cost even more.. all they might have is a op amp and 2 to resistors..

Kindly assist..!

Sam

Also will Cable Ferrites or ferrite bleed help?

I prototyped  a couple of passive notch filter circuits including the one Tony posted. But neither were very good; two broad.

If I can find an inductor between 150 to 200 mh I will try a parallel resonant band stop filter.
