Hello.
I am currently trying to repair my Makita DC40RB charger, which is a dual-port simultaneous fast charger. When I insert the battery, the green light flashes and the fan starts running, but after about 10 seconds, it switches to a red error light. The battery is still in good condition.
I found that 2 diodes smd code "SK", 2 diode smd code "WJ", and 2 mosfets "18N60M2" are short-circuited.
I replaced the WJ diodes, the SK diodes = SL diodes, and the 18N60M2 = 60R190QS.
I suspect the HR1002 IC is damaged, so I replaced it with an HR1001A IC. It seems that these two ICs are interchangeable.
But, my charger still doesn't work. Has anyone ever repaired this charger before? Please guide me on what to do next.
Thanks.

Check the datasheets of both HR1002 and HR1001A. They may not be interchangeable in every application.

Thank you, but I have already replaced the HR1002 IC with the correct part, yet the situation has not improved. This charger uses an R5F100MGA (MCU) 80pin. Is there any way to accurately diagnose the issue or check for errors via this MCU?
