Sorry for the bad picture... So you were talking about cutting the slot in the lever arm for the screw to slide back and forth in. I really like your idea of haning them connect form bhind (I was going to connect them from the front).
I think it will help because, when you push down with even force on both sides of the 'trolley' as I like to call it, it moves up and down smoothly.
I'm not sure what you mean by this, could you please explain.
I took some before pictures, but I don't think I'm going to post them, Ante.
pyroboy,
Hello, seems that you are wanting my flyback transformer... I happen to have plans for this particular flyback transformer, sorry. :P
Ok, so here it is... (so far)
The actual mountfor the dremel is not yet made and It needs another lever arm on the oposite side to keep it from binding.
I put some springs on the rods and they work great (thanks for the suggestion sarathk) ;)
SO that is the update, again any comments/...
Well I spent half the day/night cleaning and building a mini work bench and the other half making a pendant.
You asked for picuters of my workshop Ante, and here they are (the 2 walls that are clean...) The back wall is still very messy, no pistures of that yet, but it is comming.
Our...

When I say disaster, I mean disaster!!!!
I got into a habit of going down there and working and disasemling things, then not cleaning them up after I was finished... I am in the process of cleaning, pictures when it is more presentable.
I plann on moving them downstairs into my workshop (which is a complete disaster right now) after I finish building some shelves.
I asked for a cople old hdd's and my friend brought me 6 old premio's that he bought at an auction (20 for $5). Kind of surprised me, when I went out to my car and he...
I was using an off brand dremel tool with a grind stone attached to it...
Result: I broke the drive transmission, which is only a spring... Maybe since I broke my rotary tool I don't need that drill press any more.
I kind of fixed it, but it is a little bit off balance, so at high speeds the...
Maybe I could just take an old clock radio and de-solder the components and then carefully re-assemble them suspended in the air.
I have no room for such a device on my bedside table, take a look:
(My room is a bit cleaner now than it was then...) :-\
I am actually using 2 printer rods with the copper bearings...
Right now the project has come to a hault because someone has stolen my drill bits and the ones I have (that werent stolen) aren't the right size...
Maybe this will make up for it:
Spent last right de soldering components from a monitor I found in a dumpster.
What is left of the poor monitor:
(still some work to do) :-\
But think, that $30 I just saved went towards buying more pcb supplies, or better yet, That variable temperature soldering iron that I've always wanted...
In my search I did run across the Dremel press (for $30 as you mentioned), but making something is always more fun? :)
Here is my design.
I have started building it and I would say that I am 3/4ths of the way done with it... I'll post pictures later.
Comments/ improvements on my design are welcome ;D
