    RS232 to I2C/SPI

thanks Suraj, But those programmers are using parallel port instead of serial port. I also come to some parallel-to-I2C circuits, with complete source code. May be I have to use an MCU to translate the serial data to I2C/SPI. Anyway, thanks for advice. I will post something out once I got some...

Hey Oilhou, I am same as you, come from Hong Kong. ;D There are some places where you can buy components, like in Sham Shui Po Ap liu Street, IC master in ShanPoKwong, Leader in Kwun Tong, etc. If you can't get required components, you can try local RS or Fernell, there you should get...

HELP ME - I KNOW NOTHING!!

I saw also in a mosquito bat....... a cheap tools to kill mosquito with sparks......... Inside have transformer, should be step up the DC voltage.... But I won't copy its circuit..... as the soldering is so horrible....... and I threw it away once I discovered that........ :P

    RS232 to I2C/SPI

I am thinking of a circuit where I can give out I2C/SPI commands/data to some ICs (like 24Cxx, some RF PLL, ADC, etc) through RS232 port on my PC. That will enable me to try some command codes or build test jigs. Anyone get ideas?

    Make a Microwave oven on a small-scale

Is the microwave frequency equal to the resonant frequency of water?? When the microwave applied, the water molecule will vibrate more fiercely?? and finally generate heat?? anyone can confirm this??

    solid state toggle switch

I think you can do some time delay circuit on the reset pin of IC 4013. Just simple RC can do. I have tried a few circuit on 4017 with about the same problem of random and I can eliminate them with such addon. So good luck then. ;D

    Electronic Stethoscope 2

audioguru, Noope I am not going to build this circuit. Just quote a pass experience in handling condensed microphone circuit in manufacturing products (say for example, an microphone preamp stage inside an analog cmos camera connected to your VCR/TV). The suggestion is to minimize the...

    Electronic Stethoscope 2

For me, I will divide R1 into two 5K ohm resistor in series and with a 22uF capacitor connected between these two resistors joint to gorund. That will reduce much noise from the power source to the microphone.

    AA battery power rating

batteries always start at 1.5V (some I have measured up to 1.7V)and then gradually down to 1.2V... and then dead.. so if you really want to power the circuit with exact 9V... AA or AAA are not fitted your application. try to use the 9V cells.... or more AA/AAA cells... For 100mA current.... it...
