    Repair Headphone Wire Ripped from PCB

    The wire colours are not clear in the picture. Try to look for remains on the PCB with a magnifier glass. Otherwise just solder them randomly it looks like only two are ripped off. Worse case scenario it will just not work so you solder them the other way around.

    Restoring ancient digital watch.

    Spraying helps clean a pcb right? does it not ? I believe it is too fragile to be touched even by soft brush. As for diping it, im not sure. What would you try if you where in his place ?

    Restoring ancient digital watch.

    I think that you should spray it and allow time to dry. It might take several spray - dry cycles though. P.S. It is indeed work of art. I used the term artifact and i meant it :)

    Restoring ancient digital watch.

    I think there may be a chance of reviving this artifact by using isopropyl alcohol spray. Personally i wouldnt risk cleaning it with a brush because you will certainly destroy the tine wires. the traces look okay under the growth. They knew how to build electronics that last for life back in...

    Embedded C++ Project

    I think you already knew the answer. C++ is superior compared to C but that does not mean that C is not useful ! Generally speaking whatever you can do in C you can also do in C++ but that does not go the other way around.

    Embedded C++ Project

    Well i have to admit that you express your questions in a very unusual manner. As for this question there is no right or wrong answer. Criteria for language choosing in my opinion are your own knowledge in each language and the abilities each one offers (pros, cons etc.). In other words you...

    I am glad you liked them Thank you sir ! I am so sorry to hear that... I wish you get better soon. My best wishes. The circuit looks very simple. I can even solder most of the components on the board before shipping it if you wish. The only problem i see is that i do not have the footprints...

    Hello and welcome ! Do you wish to buy a kit that includes PCB ? I guess i can build the PCB's for you if you have the layout or even the circuit diagram but i am not sure if that is what you need. Here is a link where you can see some of the boards i made. All of them are hand made by me...

    Problem interfacing Arduino with an rs422 GPS receiver.

    I am still investigating this issue and so far i found no proof that it is a hardware problem. I re scoped the input and output signals with better resolution and they appear to be normal. I am also investigating software issues that might be involved. This post might be "false alarm" Ill...

    Problem interfacing Arduino with an rs422 GPS receiver.

    I will make a diagram yes. I do not think that it is the effect of capacitive load because the GPS output looks exactly the same even with nothing connected to it. Unless if you are referring to the Converter output. I will also try to post Oscope pictures. Thanks!

    Problem interfacing Arduino with an rs422 GPS receiver.

    Hello ! Im back here with yet an other mysterious problem. A couple of years ago i started building a project that involves an arduino mega and a GPS receiver that has RS422 output at 4800 bps baud rate. Unfortunately the arduino use serial communication TTL level. I have builded a pcb where...

    Hello ! I Use a Tektronix TDS-3012B Oscope and i get this little strange behavior on both channel A and B. Even with no probe connected or with the probe connected and shorted to GND, i do get readings on the display that range from 0 to 100mv peak to peak. and from 0 to 400K frequency. like...
