Another approach, a little better precision. Note Vref is +/- .1%, if you need more accuracy use external Vref. This approach uses multiturn pot. Again one chip solution. Right hand window shows resources used/left, very little was used of chip. Other stuff onchip, multipoles in most cases...

A 10 bit DAC coupled with a quaddec encoder for a pot would do with some code. To generate a precision V Solution around $5, single chip, Arduino or a PSOC. https://community.infineon.com/gfawx74859/attachments/gfawx74859/psoc135/49300/1/QuadDecoder_v0_2_C.pdf...

Can someone suggest me an upgrade for my car that doesn’t require any wire cutting or voids insurance and warranty, but still gives an excellent econo

Make sure : 1) Your air filter on engine intake clean 2) No brake pads or shoes "dragging" when released 3) If car old do a round of adding into one tank injector cleaner if car uses fuel injection. Search online / youtube for best brand / tests 4) Engine timing correctly set 5) Oil changed...

    LED circuit help

If you want balanced light output from one string to another either drive it with a constant current source or use R to effect that to some degree. Paralleling LEDS w/o controlled current or ballasting can result in one string robbing others of current. One way the Chinese do cheap stuff is use...

How to Reduce Noise When Measuring 20MHz Frequency Using Relay

Are you taking snapshot after relay activated ? Is it broadband noise, can you show noise on source side of relay and output side to compare ?

    Combining two +12v car outputs

What is the current needed for low beam ? I would advise you use a diode with 2X current rating, and it needs to have a heatsink, eg. you need to do the thermal design as well. Your diagram seems OK, maybe check the 12V wiring gauge for high beam to see if its wire gauge big enough to handle...

    Combining two +12v car outputs

Keep in mind the 12V system in a vehicle is anything but reliably stable. Your Schottky diode must be able to handle the breakdown. https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/snoaaa1 Regards, Dana.

Controlling 1 pump from 2 places

Probably use relays easiest approach. Depends on the controller on each end what the interface looks like, what to use to power relays and to also supply signaling for turning on gas furnace. Also you have to consider fault tolerance of designs, to make sure no failed solution breaks the...

    Samsung monitor blow out

I am strictly guessing here but I would posit that R is used as a shunt in a feedback loop to control the LED power or current for the LCD backlight. You could always use a gauge of wire and cut it to length to get .22 ohms. Definitely measure the C ESR to make sure its OK. Look online for its...

    Samsung monitor blow out

The large brown bulk capacitor seems to have a slight bulge at top, indicating it may have failed, quite often as a short. So they take out other components often when they do. The resistor is a .33 ohms resistor if it is still good. Regards, Dana.
