    CNCMADMAN, G00 means quick point to point positioning and G96 means constant cut speed so your expression "G00 G96 X.0 Y.0 Z.02" does not have sense. ;)

    dear alan i think that you can find more cnc free software in: http://majosoft.tripod.com/hobbycnclinks/body_hobbycnclinks.html The 3-axis stepper controller can read other cnc software than dancad. In the archive software i had found "jalaCNC" and i think is a very simple and intuitive software...
