    Im not fully Familiar with the adaptor but have you tried manually finding updated drivers for it? most of the usb to serial adaptors run off the 2303 anyway :P

    If its a car amp then it needs 12v / Remote / ground Check the amp to make sure there is no issue with the remote input Make sure the amp is grounded properly on bare metal make sure there are no Breaks or blown fuses Have you checked the Solder joints Coming out of the 12v rem and ground...

    We have managed to get the motor to move when the pos and neg wires are connected to the batteries and the brake works when those wires are shorted. the other 2 wires im not sure what they do but they are not important. so what am i needing to test on the multimeter?

    the motor has a handbrake sticking out of it but its in a really bad spot the brake is tripped when the who white wires are shorted and the motor doesnt move if the handbrake is up
