Yes this one given by audiogure must work fine! Only one thing...on your image is 680 ohm emitter resistor and on schematic is 470 ohm any difference?- aurelZ

Yes i agree with Audioguru i doubt that this IC can provide enough gain for 100ft cable. Another thing: As far as i know most cameras have composite chinch 75ohm output so if you use Z=75 ohm cable then you don't need any baloon transformer. This circuit should be so called sound switch..right? So when sound comes then amplified signal from 741 trigg flipflop IC wihich must stay open to hold relay connected then next sound deactivati IC and relay is off, if your battery is old and cannot hold constant voltage then you have drops... -

there is no need for any kind of ballon transformer it is not RF signal than video from camera right? also there is no such a chip amplifier or i don't know which can replace 3 stage transistor amplifier i don't know why is such a problemetic to build amplifier? -

Yeah maybe is obsolete but is for sure one of the best APA chips ever made. This chip with +/- 18V gives the best results but if you don't have such a trafo then you can try single power supply with 24V,check this... -

AM and FM combined so it is a poor way to test an FM demodulator that is supposed to reject AM. Yes Audioguru , i can agree with that but don't forget that main purpose of FM detector to pass only one carrier frequency which is 10.7 and as such this circuit is the simpliest soulution. How i know ? Simple because i use transmission ceramic filter 10.7MHz see post #14 In last schematic you can see output capacitor of 120pF. I add that 10.7 Mhz ceramic filter with 3 leg to input of my weiss FM demodulator. So RF signal goes from this 120pF cap to ceramic filter of 10.7Mhz. And...- aurelZ
