constant current LED driver without PWM (and flicker)

I have bookmarked this driver for ages, it's what I need but 2.3x more expensive then LED http://www.distrelec.biz/en/led-driver-1050-ma-recom-racd60-1050-of/p/16926637

constant current LED driver without PWM (and flicker)

"Availability: No Longer Manufactured" is from newark.com. My local shop has plenty of them. "It is 82 watts. " - that is why I will use CPU heatsink with fan. Actually the datasheet tells it's 50-80W http://datasheet.octopart.com/GW5DGE40MR5-Sharp-Microelectronics-datasheet-10917188.pdf Depends...

constant current LED driver without PWM (and flicker)

Hello, I chosen the sharp LED GW5DGE40MR5 http://www.newark.com/sharp/gw5dle40mr5/megazeni-white-50w-4000k/dp/89T3708 The driver is mystery to me, I need no flicker (means no PWM). Would this Mean Well work: http://www.meanwell.com/mw_search/ldd-h/LDD-H-SPEC.PDF Perhaps it's better to use...

BOSCH reputable car battery manufacturer? then where are datasheets?

I got the CCA meter and the my BOSCH S4 630A EN measured 421CCA EN. The battery is 2 years old. In use in a car 1 year, the other year it was hooked to CTEK MXS5 every 2 or 3 moths for charging. So is the 630A a BOSCH marketing hype or 421A means 66% of juice left? P.S. I still have not got...

Pause mode for CTEK MXS Polar charger

Well i tried it and the resistor kills the cap so it is not needed. It is enough to connect 25v 2200uf cap. Then disconnect the battery and measure it etc. Afterwards connect the CTEK charger back still on mode 8 or mode 7 (green lights). So I found how to solve this ! Thank you for idea about...

Pause mode for CTEK MXS Polar charger

So the 220ohm resistor was not enough? I need 1K resistor as load? How do I connect the capacitor, to the resistor to simulate voltage flow from battery right?

Pause mode for CTEK MXS Polar charger

Hello, I have this CTEK Polar charger http://ctek.com/pt/en/chargers/MXS%205.0%20POLAR In mode 8, Float charge the charger charges at 13.6 volts and ~10ma current that is pulsed etc. I want to be able to disconnect it from battery without it detecting it. I want to measure the battery...

    shunt precission question

    For example, note the battery monitors are specified as: Volt ± 1% + 2byte / Amp ± 2% + 5byte wattmeters are specified as: Volt ± 0.1% + 2byte / Amp ± 0.5% + 3byte So in general I understand that typically you don't need 0.5% for battery measurements because of repeat-ability error. But...

    shunt precission question

Hello, I see there are panel meters like these nice ones http://stores.ebay.com/Elite-element/Dual-Display-Combo-meter-/_i.html?_fsub=3083749012 Some are 100A some 20A same voltage and everything, the only difference is shunt used. What about if I use 100A version to measure only 10A Max would...

BOSCH reputable car battery manufacturer? then where are datasheets?

Yes I know about CCA, that needs to be measured too. But overall capacity is measured in Ah

BOSCH reputable car battery manufacturer? then where are datasheets?

Yes I know that, but amp hour hating is still specified by 20how discharge test. It's important where how the curve looks to see the health of battery. The BOSCH datasheets does not have the graphs or internal resistance specifications ! Those datasheets are plain marketing claims and...

new WAGO 221 spring loaded terminals a disaster

Hello, well I could say that this is what you get when German company gets sold to Chinese. Now WAGO 222 spring loaded terminals are very good, the springs are so strong that it is not possible to put wire trough it if you disassemble the connector. You might manage to get one spring open, but...

BOSCH reputable car battery manufacturer? then where are datasheets?

Please send me PM with the email you got these datasheets from. Thank you. P.S. I hope they will send me 20hour discharge curve to 10.5v

Crimp tool hell or just solder it?

Well, I've been soldering all my connections like Why the damn greedy manufactures would not make a crimp tool like this with large hole? It would be possible to fit any connection and crimp it, hex version is way better then a square shown here. Now the cable lugs and connectors does...

peakelec ESR70 measuring battery internal resistance

I have made the circuit to measure ers of batteries. I've used 10uF 35V Rubycon cap (ESR 0.30), and 47K resistor 5%. Questions: 1. How to zero out the wire resistance? The Atlas meter is zeroes out OK, but that can't be done while meter is connected to this circuit. What am I doing wrong? 2...

peakelec ESR70 measuring battery internal resistance

Hello I have peakelec ESR 70. I ask if it's true 100khz meter: peakelec replies 1. I can confirm that the Atlas ESR (models ESR60 and ESR70) do measure the true ESR at 100kHz. It applies a test signal of exactly 100kHz and measures the true ESR and ignores the capacitor's reactance (unlike...

BOSCH reputable car battery manufacturer? then where are datasheets?

Yes I did. No reply. The only way got a reply from them is if I post on their UK forum. But that's a joke as one guy replies to everything there. Perhaps somebody else was more lucky? If you have to be "lucky" to get datasheets for products that is.

As the title says: BOSCH reputable car battery manufacturer? then where are datasheets? For example take Bosch S4 car battery, where is datasheet with listed discharge curves? internal resistance?
