I have used this Method Many Times for many years:
It is Not particularly Faster, But Cheaper than Etchant with chemicals.
But also needs Final Completion with chemicals.

Wire Wool is NOT a good way for doing this.
Leaves Scratches and misses some areas.
Contact Cleaner removes Oxidation Much better and the spray covers evenly.
Solderable Enamel wire is Very Safe for applications that don't get to High Temperatures.
The Coating require a Considerable amount of heat with Flux, to remove it.
So for Most Transformers and Motors this type of wire is Quite Acceptable.
I have and use both types and never had any problems...
I Doubt you will find one for That LOUD.
Just move Further away.
Possibly take readings at 3 or 4 different distances and than you should be able to graph it for other distances.
Why Not Split up your Panels, Make Two Separate Systems.
Two Sets of 3 Panels with one controller on Each one.
3, 150 Watt panels on one.
3, 100 watt panels on the other one.
Could be Oxidized Contacts on the Selector Switch.
Need to Spray the Switch with Electronic Contact Cleaner.
May also Fix the other Problem.
But first you need to get it Out of the Case to do this.
Note the 2 Small Tabs on the Plastic Case, hold the Board.
Carefully Pry them Sideways to lift...
Due to the possibility of peltiers being used in a Vehicle that is Running with battery Voltage at around 14.6 Volts.
Most Peltiers are rated at 15.4 Volts, so 92 / 15.4 = 6 Amp Module.
It will draw a bit less when at 12 Volts.
I Don't see the exact one like I have, but this one claims ether 50 or 1650 watts, 220 or 240 to 110.

NO, These Converters are a Triac controlled Device and Rated for 1500 Watts.
Similar to a Light Dimmer, but set to control from 240 to 110 Volts.
Yes and these are Quite Small in Size and Weight!
They do make a Converter device for travelers going to the UK and other countries, to do this conversion.
I Have one that I use sometimes when travelling.
Go to a Major Department Store and look in the Travel Section or Ask a Store Clerk..
