Suggestions for winter electronics projects wanted

How about this? Train a Lyre Bird to mimic the various railway and commerce sounds. Then the model train can go to each location with a bit of corn in its hopper car. Your bird will fly over to that location, make the appropriate sound, and eat its reward ... ding, ding, ding ...

Suggestions for winter electronics projects wanted

One of the small projects in Electronics Class was a "Bird Chirper" You might combine several calls onto one board. One person in class accidentally called it a "Bird Chipper"! You could connect the Bird Chirper to a door entry switch (like a retail store) or to a doorbell button.

Reversing polarity through signal from mouse switch

    Confusion, Deliberate hacking, Guesses, Tests

I just purchased a Klein Digital Circuit Breaker Finder. The transmitter just plugs into the receptacle: it looks like a GFCI tester. It sends a complex signal down {or up) the line. In normal operation the receiver is scanned along the strip of circuit breakers once to learn and a second time...

Some of good gyration air mouse?

The GA Mouse needs internal antennas at the unit and at the sensor. In this case smaller is not always better ... talk to people, read the reviews, do the google. Link: https://www.hindawi.com/journals/ijap/2013/838364/

Are Deoxit contact cleaners worth the money?

Deoxit D5 contact cleaner followed by Deoxit S5 shield is the new standard! My D5 ran out after several years and I was shocked by the new price, but I knew how good it was so I bought another tin. To save money I use smaller squirts, wait a bit, then add a bit of S5. Those other oil-based...
