Your options then are rather limited so I revert back to my initial thoughts. No jockey licence required. :)

I usually get paid for this kind of request....... :)

Home Based Income as an Electronics Hobbyist

Fact, hobbyists don't want to pay, so forget that. Female hairdressers, especially those with diverse operations in their business, usually have some quite expensive gear no one wants or knows how to repair BUT you need quite a "knowledge" range otherwise you'll get known as a deadbeat really...

Force Feedback for i.e. Logitech Yoke

Most would be taught to have an aiming point on the runway with correct safe approach speed. Any stall condition would be after the aiming point is passed and the flare initiated at the correct height. Either way, much easier and safer to have aircraft trimmed and speed correct all the way into...

Need simple circuit for external power bank level indicator

More like bms board inside the battery. Capacity indicator is also more than likely not really a capacity meter but a basic voltmeter. Smart chargers have capacity circuits but not really a requirement on most portable gear batteries. This is sufficient really on a LiPo or similar as the bms...

Replacement diode/zener for ITT Metrix Lab Power supply

Not a normal approach to parallel zener diodes. Associated resistor usually chosen to ensure zener operates in the correct current region.

Is it faulty, if so, how did you test it?

Force Feedback for i.e. Logitech Yoke

In my experience, aircraft are trimmed to fly, even on landing (especially on landing approach) The only time there is pressure on the yoke is if it is not trimmed, and this would be during the flare. It is well known aircraft will stall at a given stick position as it is the angle of attack of...

Need simple circuit for external power bank level indicator

True capacity meters are not "simple". If using LiPo cells, you could monitor the output voltage and act on that. "reasonable time" is not a standard measure. Batteries in good condition and charged according to specs to a predetermined level will discharge over a given time depending on the...

One of the LEDs that shows time on my alarm clock is behaving badly -- 7 Segment LED Display

Thing is he has zero reference to go by....maybe if there was one working to compare with for scope readings. Trying to find out what is going on inside a multi-pin ic chip would be next to impossible.

RC engine sound simulator, how to install in 3yo kids rideable toy?

Probably the easiest solution for you is to get an off-the-shelf bluetooth amplifier speaker. Mate of mine did it with one of his diesel locos as an easy fix for the horn. Some have done it in miniature on small electric trains as well. See if I can find a link........ Try this for an idea for...

One of the LEDs that shows time on my alarm clock is behaving badly -- 7 Segment LED Display

Voltage testing is a waste of time on multiplexed outputs. A scope would be ok but again waste of time on a 2 cent clock.

One of the LEDs that shows time on my alarm clock is behaving badly -- 7 Segment LED Display

All "g" segment down I'd say the ic. Multiplexing would be internally controlled.

RC engine sound simulator, how to install in 3yo kids rideable toy?

As I already said, the input would be an rc signal. You can get an rc signal from a $2 servo tester with the pot mechanically linked to your existing throttle. This signal is a pwm signal, not a voltage level. Therein is the 3 wires, 4.8v positive, negative and signal wire. The latter from the...

RC engine sound simulator, how to install in 3yo kids rideable toy?

Simple enough for an off-the-shelf unit as used in r/c but as you have already found, expensive. Get a servo tester and mechanically connect to the throttle pedal, signal from this goes to the r/c input on the sound unit. Most of the simple diy ones are basically like hitting on a tin can with a...
