Hi Hos, Welcome to our forum. Go to www.maxim-ic.com They have some nice battery charger ICs.

    Electronic Stethoscope 2

Hi Loveguru, They are the same. Your TL072CP is fine. TI used to call the plasic package "N", but now call it "P" like everyone else. Some of their parts in plastic packages still end with "N" like the TL074CN. It looks like all their 14 pins plastic packages end with "N".

in search of a FM STEREO transmitter

Hi RAS, As the expert explained, Rohm didn't use over-sampling to round-off the square waves of the multiplexing. Adding your own very complicated analog filters would reduce the distortion and of course switching off the stereo somehow and transmit in mono would eliminate most distortion.

    Sound Chips

Hi Fatal, I had a look on Google for Sound Synthesizer and found 172,000 hits for hardware and software. The 1st page has an IC. There is a link to Google at the bottom of this page "WWW Search".

    wireless FM Transmitter

Hi Elvin, You would need to make your own PCI sound card, complete with MP3 player and stereo FM transmitter. Since very few hobbiests make them and they make only one, I doubt that you can get the special PCI and MP3 decoder IC's without ordering 10,000 of them. You also must write a program...

Use a battery while charging it.

Thanks, Mixos, TI's charger circuit is sensing the battery's voltage and current separate from the load.

    FM WAVE PROPAGATION

Hi Prateek, No reflections at FM frequencies? Don't you have any tall steel buildings in your town? They sure do reflect alright! It's called multipath distortion, where a reflection or more cancels or corrupts the signal. It's so bad that car and radio manufacturers have cars and radios with 2...

    FM WAVE PROPAGATION

Hi Shekhar, If your building has steel floor beams with steel-rods in reinforced concrete, I doubt that a simple FM transmitter will penetrate. However if it just has wood-sticks and string, it will probably be OK to travel a few stories. Of course, it also depends on the sensitivity of your...

    wireless transmitter

Hi Alun, The RF output power of the Stereo Micromitter is attenuated to meet Australia's 10mW limit. Rhom's datasheet gives no spec's but says they will be provided by request (and a payment?).

    wireless transmitter

Hi Shekhar, Which FM transmitter are you going to make? To drive it from the speaker output of your computer you don't have to match the impedance and you also don't even have to terminate the amplifier with 8 ohms, unless it's a vacuum tube amplifier with an output transformer. Just use a 10K...

    Relaytimer ?

Hi Randy, Welcome to our forum. You need to wire the 3 unused gates in the 4011 as a flip-flop that has a single input from your switch for toggling. Search Google for Flip-flop Circuit and you'll probably find a circuit.

    ABOUT VEROBOAD

Hi Ante, If it has copper strips on one side and its perforated, I'll use it even if it's made from dung, until I find a sweeter-smelling one! I know! You know those vacuum thingys that take away smoke from soldering irons? One of those might take away the stink. They use dung for fuel over...

in search of a FM STEREO transmitter

Hi Ras, There is hardly any difference between the circuits. There is nothing changed that would affect distortion. About the only differences I can see is that Silicon Chip couldn't find a Soshin FM bandpass filter so made their own with a capacitor and a couple of coils, and they changed a few...

    ABOUT VEROBOAD

Hi Ante, Look for an Indian or Chinese Veroboard copy. It won't be blue and it will smell very bad because it will probably be made from dung, like the stuff that I recently bought. He, he. ;D

in search of a FM STEREO transmitter

Hi Ras, Stereo FM and TV audio is limited to 15KHz (AM radios are lucky to get to only about 4KHz and few do). Any frequencies higher are supposed to be sharply rolled-off to avoid beating with the 19KHz pilot tone and avoid aliasing noises in the stereo multiplexing. The pre-emphasis (treble...

    Working of a PLL

H Shekhar, Experiment with a CD4046B PLL IC, a variable frequency clock oscillator and a CD4040B digital counter. Read their datasheets and try various combinations and you'll learn about PLLs quickly.

    stun glove

Isn't a glove used just to hide it? Glue a piece of insulation to the outside of the glove and glue well-insulated high voltage wires with bare ends on top of it. Aren't we talking about a powerful STUN thing? A Fazer or Tazer produces a couple of watts. Wouldn't you need about a thousand photo...

in search of a FM STEREO transmitter

Hi Guys, A position in the list of a Google search keeps changing by the number of hits it gets. Searching for the Silicon Chip project by stereo FM Transmitter was on page 6 yesterday, today it's on page 1 thanks to us guys. EnigmaOne is correct, it is much easier to find by searching for...

in search of a FM STEREO transmitter

Hi Ras, I've put in caps the good and bad points of the two transmitters to help your choice. The "South African" kit is much better but costs more. There are two kits listed in Google in the Micromitter search, but I can't see how they can charge $50 and $64 for just a $3 IC but they have a...
