    Hi Nid, Nop I have not, I just can’t see why it should be that important in the rectifier stage. At least not if you already got your diodes or bridge rectifier bypassed with caps like I described earlier.  BTW. I have not encountered any regulators which oscillate from low ESR caps.

    Hi indulis, I disagree; pulsed DC has a much better capability to solve and prevent the buildup of sulphate in a lead acid battery than “pure” DC!

    Hi reuben, You seem to be a guy with a lot of ideas! Are you trying to build the Perpetuum Mobile? Don’t think the 1 phase motor would be capable of pulling the 3hp as an alternator and then supply your 7.5hp do you? And I wouldn’t recommend using 12V contactors for high voltage! ;)

    Hi Shahriar, I think you are trying to make a unnecessarily complicated charger here, why do you need 15A, and why use ATX PSUs? You need to reach 2.39Volts/cell (28.7V) before the 24V battery is fully charged and remain here for some time (based on the battery data and the current used) then...
