    Square Wave Driver IC

I doubt you'll find an IC that can you all of that. It sounds like an EL driver is exactly what you need. Why is the wave form shape important? What exactly is it you're driving? Operation down to 1V (a 1.5V alkaline cell in the discharged state) is the real killer. You need to use a boost...

    ELECTRONIC FAUCET

Please don't ask the same question more than once, I deleted your other post. Please refer to the forum policy regarding duplicate threads. http://www.electronics-lab.com/forum/index.php?topic=19562.0 What's an electronic faucet? I had to Google it and am still none the wiser. A shower head...

    Need Help...I have (2) 25volt 3 amp Transformers and Need 1 40-50volt 3amp Trans

The LM3886 requires +/- raills ranging from 28VDC to 35VDC. Transformer voltage ratings are specified in RMS. The peak voltage is √2 times the RMS voltage. The DC voltage from a rectifier is equal to the peak voltage minus the rectifier losses. So why not use a single 25-0V-25V transformer...

    Capacitance Meter diagram question

They're potentiometers (variable resistors) which are used to calibrate the meter.

Does Anyone Have a Use for "Junk" Electronics?

Why not try ebay? It's normally the best way of selling stuff you might think know one wants. Then there's Freecycle http://www.uk.freecycle.org/

    Dual Supply Boost/Inverting Conver

Why would you want to do that? The output voltage can be changed by altering the potential divider rations as describe on the datasheet. If you want to boost the output voltage and current ratings then you could try boosting the internal transisors by adding external transistors or MOSFETs but...

Cooling a resistor load at 6 to 10kW

Use two 120V 2kW heaters connected in parallel, maybe a couple of electric kettles will do.

Isolated ground planes on a MCU controlled high voltage IGBT

You can get gate drivers specifically designed for this application but as you've said, the gate voltage needs to be higher. http://www.fairchildsemi.com/ds/FO%2FFOD3181.pdf

Isolated ground planes on a MCU controlled high voltage IGBT

What's the switching frequnecy? You can buy ready made solid state relays if it's low frequency. If it's high frequency a pulse transformer can be used to transfer the gate drive across the tow grounds.

A battery of batteries... good idea or bad?

What's the impedance of the speakers? They need to be 4R for an output of 20W, if they're 8R, the theoretical maximum output with 14.4V will be 12.96W which will be 10W maximum in reality. Are they real D cells or are they AA or C cells with extra padding - many cheap D cells are. What's the...

    MEASURING OF REVERSE RECOVERY CURRENT

What do you mean? The reverse current is a tiny leakage current that flows when the reverse voltage is applied. It's normally insignificant for silicon diodes but for som Schottky diodes it's significant. It can be measured by using a voltage source set near the diode's absolute maximum rating...

    Current Limiting Technique

There will be an internal resistance, even if it is not mentioned on the datasheet. The easier way to work out the internal resistance is to measure the unloded voltage, apply a load and measure the voltage again. The internal resistance is equal to: (Vunloaded-Vloaded)/Current.
