    50VDC RF power supply

Hi duck, Welcome to this forum. What are the manufacturers (Philips) requirements for stability and filtering of the power supply? I seem a bit low (6A) at 50 volts if the power is 300W.

    3-Axis Stepper Controller

Hi RobiD, One easy way to load a PC PSU is to put a 4R7 10W on the 5Volts side. This works on most ATX and AT PSUs. If you look at the label on your PSU you can see the ratings on the different voltages.

    problem with a rectifier

Hi Alun, There is a big difference between 100nF and 100uF and I suspect that they are electrolytic caps. A current will flow through these caps at 50Hz and you state that the value is not critical well I think it is. 8)

    Dome Lamp Dimmer

Hi Alun, As far as I can see you are not using an external voltage to control your circuit? And there is no reason to do this in a dimmer circuit.

Hi Yevgeni, Yes you are correct: With a high value like this (100uF) they will conduct, get very hot and be destroyed! (blow up)!
