    As you were informed on the other site, multi conductors connected together are going to be considered a single conductor as far as a winding is concerned. Also as told, You need to definitively obtain the turns/volt by placing a temporary 10turn over-wind and measure same!

    You could look up some of the schematic software turoriols such as Kicad. For a given schematic, you would look up the data sheet that applies to the components used.. In any case, before reading schematics, you would normally learn at least basic and then advanced electronics.

    As I said in #2, I used a Picmicro, I ended up with a pulse burst of 10x .01 sec, pulse every second. The modern dual waste cylinder firing coil has an isolated coil primary.

    Check the winding resistance, you most likely have a common point and possibly two different resistance values for each winding, you will need a start capacitor to connect in series with the highest value winding, do you know if it has a start switch? What is the HP and RPM?
