    Bypass motor on motor help

How did you determine the motor is shot? Does the motor normally run even when the function is not engaged? How many wires to the motor? Does the motor have any electronics attached to it or a slotted wheel pulse counter wheel or? M.

Special Project with led and motors

The motor you specify is 6v and they show a range of 3v to 9v, you intend 12v or 24v supply, you would have been better off with a 12v or 24v motor and run it on a lower voltage, with that gear ratio it should be able to turn that predicted load at a lower voltage. As mentioned, a PWM...

    hall effect sensor

Very unusual to see a latching Hall sensor in a BLDC motor. If it is the range of any of the rotor or fields it is going to affect it. Have you checked out the Honeywell SS400 series? M.

    unknown electronic component.

Usually 1 would be a contactor or relay coil and 2 would be a solenoid. These are the common differentials, there is always a possibility the OEM may have drawn with a slightly different meaning, but looking at that, that would be my interpretation. The wire A1 & A2 label also confirms the...

    unknown electronic component.

1 is a solenoid coil. 2 is a Proximity switch 3 appears to be a centre off Limit Sw that is operated from two directions. Although that is a new one on me. But a normal L.S. does this. M.

Hooking up deadbolt motor to TB6612FNG Stepper Motor Controller

Really? I am curious if you call that a series motor, and it appears to be DC brushed with a P.M. field, what do you call a shunt field motor.? If it depends on what country one comes from, what is Your country of origin? M.

Hooking up deadbolt motor to TB6612FNG Stepper Motor Controller

Well I have worked with motors in both Europe and N.A. and a series motor usually indicates a series connected field as in Universal motors fitted to power tools and vacuums, also the older starter motors on auto's. They actually operate in a runaway condition due to the field weakening. The one...

Are you sure it is a series motor, those generally are DC P.M. field motors? M.

    Field Failure

The main problem with the field going open circuit when running is it will take off, rpm wise and a chance of flying apart. This is why wound field shunt motors have some kind of current detection in order to avoid this. If you want to make use of the current sensor you could use a level...

    Da sander blowing fuses ?

Yes , looks like a common mode choke, two opposing windings on a ferrite ring, Usually only used on Universal motors with rpm control. M.
