    I would have thought it would be phase angle control that would cause flicker? The problem is that the heater is on a circuit with the lights? If the heater is on its own and is wired with correct gauge it should not cause flicker, this is the way most stoves work. M.

    I t appears to be a Keyes joystick module for Arduino use, there are many Arduino female to male hook up leads on ebay cheap. See ebay 381350806379 M.

    If .1" spacing then you might use a 10pin ribbon socket each side for one way of making a B.B. adaptor. There is also SMT to DIP boards available. M.

    It would seem the device to produce the 3rd ph is a little primitive, if so this is probabally why it refuses to start even when under a light load, You either need a proper phase convertor or a VFD. M.

    A good thing just about everywhere! I suspect that there is an earth on the item being plugged in to the outlet, or possibly the outlet is miswired as the other outlets are OK? Or possibly they do not have an earth conductor.! M.
