It seems to this layman that it should be a heckuva lot less complicated, and therefore cheaper, than the jumpstarters I'm seeing online.     All the jumpstart gizmos seem unnecessarily complicated. I would have thought that a gadget could be built that somehow connects the car battery to the house mains temporarily. I've never seen such a thing so I guess it's not possible. Can someone please explain why this is?
