    The schematic confirms what I previously stated. The board appears to have been damaged by contact with liquid. If so, it is probably unrepairable as the inner layers of the board may be corroded.

    Another consideration is that ¼W resistors are the largest that can be placed side by side on a standard 0.1" (2.54mm) spaced breadboard or prototyping PCB without interference.

    You can do better on the technical specifications but it won't matter since you can't control the 12V for the LED and a 5V signal with a single pole switch simultaneously. You could exchange the switch to a double pole model but that's not an ideal solution either. http://na.suzohapp.com/

    You may be getting confused by semantics. An overload is not an increase in resistance to current flow, just the opposite. It might be better to call it an overcurrent condition, but terminology develops in illogical ways.

    First; supply the specifications from Happ Controls for the switch and LED. I'm guessing the LED has a built-in resistor for 12V but give us the spec's. Second; what, if anything is the switch controlling; just the LED or what? Third; what's an iPac and what connection are you making to it...

    Leaving aside the fact that only amateurish misuse of the meter could result in the need for a fuse replacement, I would have pulled the ferrules off of the glass tube and mounted the SMD fuse inside with bus wire soldered to each ferrule producing a finely crafted kludge fuse. ;)
