    There are!. Called shields or modules. Even libraries of sketches too. The hard work is done for you, and you only need to apply the necessary ancillaries. Nothing is perfect and you will need a certain amount of customisation or code edits to get it to your requirements.

    Erm, the above motor picture isn’t a suggestion for you to use. But instead a reference of where and what to measure so that we understand. Depth and height can be misleading. So by telling us the size of the reference picture along with your motor size, we will all be on the same page:)

    Lots of these are resettable through the software. Have you opened the software with the device connected?. Have you tried deleting the software and reinstalling?.

    That’s a good question. I don’t know what specific motor you have or its specifications but a cheap controller with over rated specifications won’t do it. Start up current and stall current have to be taken into account. Can you measure this with your motor?.
