    Grounding question in regards to battery powered inverters.

    Inverter output is fully floating. Waveforms 1A and 2A are what I was concerned about but after changing scope ground to inverter neutral, the waveform looks much more reasonable. Peak to peak of inverter seems a little thow. All shots take at 50V per division.

    OK. Very good. I may have been seeing a ground wire on power poles and assumed that it was the neutral when in fact the ground wire is perhaps a safety measure should something up top go a muck. I suppose it would keep any static charges from accumulating also.

    In regards to rules of exponents, it seems when using an exponent with terms of area, a 2 dimension concept, as opposed to a line, a 1 dimensional concept, there must be a dangling exponent of positive 2 that has to find a place in the formula.
