    It takes a lot of battery power to activate that antique relay. The last time I used a relay was 50 years ago. A Mosfet for a DC load or a Triac for an AC load activates with a much lower current. The receiver circuit draws 6mA which is high for today.

    A Lithium battery is sealed and over-charging or over-discharging it is dangerous because the heat produced causes pressure to build up inside it. Then Ka-BOOM!! Why don't you use the battery or its charger to power a heater instead??

    This Instructable is too dangerous for kids. There is a possibility of electrocution with the high voltages developed with these high voltage motors that are used as generators. Instead, use little batteries in series to double the voltage.

    Why is the CD4013 not connected to the power supply? Why is the +5V missing a decoupling capacitor? Why are you using an old 555 instead of a new Cmos 555 in the Cmos CD4013 counter circuit?

    The description of the voltage converter has such a bad translation that it makes no sense. Your video shows the output being shorted which they say is not allowed. Then you have damaged it.

    It is a good idea to measure the voltage fed to the LED when it should be turned on.

    You can test the LED with only one of its wires disconnected from the circuit. Heat the solder joint then lean the LED away from it for one wire to be disconnected.

    Your photo shows it with its switch already set to "diode test". If the diode is "the correct way around" then its anode is the red meter lead and the cathode is its black meter lead. It will show the "forward voltage" of a diode and hopefully for an LED.

    Why do you think an ordinary red LED cannot replace it? An LED has polarity so it must be connected "the correct way around".

    Lots of amps and lots of volts make it extremely inefficient and produce plenty of heat (melt it?). Will it produce enough force to do anything?

    What color is the LED? I think a tiny little SOT-223 surface-mounted LM317 (plus a couple of ceramic capacitors) can make the 1.5V and a resistor can light the LED.
