    As *steve* pointed-out there are 3 different style packages. The metal can packages are the most expensive. Google pictures of the LM555, we help where we can, but you have to do some of your own leg-work. You can get an LM555 in a DIP package for less than .50 cents from a lot of places.

    Fuses like that are referred to as 'pico' fuses. Use a magnifying glass and see if you can find ANY other markings on your bad fuse. I don't know how-else to determine what the rating might be.

    You're in the right place. Looks like a Molex - type connector. Molex is a manufacturer of that type of connector. Do you see any (they'll be very small, on an edge) identification markings raised on the connector? ( A part number that will get us an exact identification.)

    The first thing I'd check as long you've got it down, is the fan motor housing for dirt, grime, insect bodies or whatever else might have gotten into the rotating section of the fan. It might just need a good cleaning (contact cleaner spray and/or compressed air blow-out).
