    Any suspect part must be confirmed out of circuit in lowest ohm scale. dorke's suggestion is also good if bridge is confirmed good. I hope you have a solder sucker or fine braid for solder wick.

    A 50A diode will easily replace a 10A diode but bigger but 200PIV may cause failure during power off transient. I would suggest MOV and ICL for OVP and OCP to reduce stress on caps and semi's. try GBPC search for largest one that fits in 600PIV...
