    I got just one question though, wouldn't it make the plane very unstable to only fire a rocket on one side of the plane? It would make less of an impact the closer the rocket is to the fuselage, but then you have to worry about setting the thing on fire.

    if it is producing AC then when rectified it will be 1.414 times as much DC minus the diode drop. I think it is gonna be pretty hard to wire AC generators in series. Hmm, good question

    Yes they are like the ones in a breadboard with .1 pitch spacing. These are the same ones you will find on an arduino. If you want it to be a tight fit you should buy the male header pins that are the matching set to the female headers. Otherwise use a larger diameter wire till it is tight.

    go ahead and answer resquelines questions. As we will need them. But you need a step-up transformer. depending on how much current you need at 220V will determine how much input current you will need on the transformer. This will tell us how big the transformer will need be etc.

    AFAIK, one is dependent upon tempature, NTC thermistor while the MOV varistor is dependent upon voltage. They both control current based on a condition though.

    I would love to take this course, but the spring time of the year is very busy for me. I got a few projects starting up and though 10 hours is doable, the other 10 I would need to familiarize myself with the AP physics and differential equations is just to much for my plate. :(

    8 awg copper will suffice for 50A. What I use inside breaker boxes for RV's all the time. But your diagram suggest you may be pulling close to 80A at one time? A two pole breaker will set you back under $10@50A unless it is a FP. I am also a little confused on your labeling, if those colors...

    I am gonna assume you got that wrong. 1.414 + 1.414 = 2.828 Might want to drink another coffee. :) thanks for the explanation. What I did not understand is that a 1V ac voltage source is the rms value. Stupid of me, inexperience at work here fella's. Feel stupid now
